This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The authors in our first grade class have worked so hard this year. Some of the pieces they published this school year have been pattern books, small moment books, non fiction books, and most recently, how-to books. Our students are experts at using their writing resources to help them write their best work.
We want to provide our students with an interactive word wall so that they can have access to tricky words while they write independently.
We plan on creating this interactive word wall with the pocket charts and laminating them to last for many years. We are also in need of a small desktop whiteboard to further help our students during writing workshop.
