An Inclusive Oasis for Language Learners

Help me give my students a cozy, calming ENL classroom that fosters enclusion and community. We're aiming for a safe space for our scholars to expand on their English capabilities with healthy snacks, flexibility seating, and inclusive literature.

My Project

Middle school English learners bring energy, hunger, and a desire to connect through language. Flexible seating keeps them comfortable, snacks fuel their focus, and engaging books—like inclusive group novels—spark discussion. Their goal? Learn enough English to chat with friends. By blending movement, food, and relatable literature, we create a welcoming space where language grows naturally. Laughter, collaboration, and shared stories build confidence, turning squirmy, hungry teens into eager learners. It’s not just about grammar—it’s about belonging. In addition, my classroom is also a calming environment with low lighting and seat cushions. Therefore, adding the lamp and Wobble stool wiill benefit the overall environment.
