My Students
In this classroom, we recognize our differences and celebrate them -- noticing how each person brings something special to our class family. These exuberant leaders are eager to learn and grow each day, pushing through obstacles and learning from mistakes. They are curious about the world around them and beam with joy as they discover new things to help our world become a better place!
My Project
Each of these book sets will help my students understand the differences in cultures, families and each other. With the understanding that they're all unique, we can work together to treat each other with dignity and respect. I plan to use these books in Social-Emotional Learning, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies so that students are exposed to different cultures/people on a regular basis. I do believe that adding these good reads to my classroom library will help students visualize and engage in everyday situations to help this world become a better place.
