My students need access to visual materials to help them learn vocabulary and concepts. An HP Officejet Pro All-in-One Color Printer will allow me to provide them with colorful, engaging pictures and charts.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 4th and 5th grade students are English Language Learners from a high-poverty, diverse neighborhood. Our school community believes in full inclusion for students with special needs and we work hard everyday to help our children succeed no matter what challenges they face.
In spite of their learning disabilities, these students are enthusiastic, responsible learners who keep trying even when the going gets rough!
It's not easy, but I try to provide them with materials and resources that make learning possible.
My Project
Your donation will help my students meet their growth potential. Since they often struggle with remembering key vocabulary and more abstract concepts, they benefit from the use of colorful, vibrant images that aid understanding and memory.
The possibilities are endless - illustrated math vocabulary cards, diagrams for science, maps and charts for social studies lessons, phonics visuals that help students read new words.
With our color printer and ink, I will be able to provide my students with vivid materials that will excite and engage them. Imagine a beautiful classroom filled with visuals that bring words and concepts to life!
