This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students face the challenges of poverty on a daily basis. We are located in the southernmost region of the United States and live in one of the poorest counties in the country. These students, who wake up every morning wanting to learn despite the difficulties that they face at home, are who inspired and motivated me post a project on DonorsChoose.org. I am honored and blessed to serve them and to be part of their lives. This is why reaching out to you is the least I can do to help them improve and be able to reach and experience the same opportunities that others have in our country.

My students manage to always have a smile and care for each other as much as possible every single day.

My Project

This incredible printer will provide an endless world of colorful resources for my students. Very often being a PreK teacher may be challenging when you don't have the resources to provide your students with creative and engaging paper activities. This printer will be of great use to help deliver those wonderful resources. Students learning will be greatly impacted by the infinite resources that I as their teacher can bring to life from a computer to a tangible scenario with the use of this device. I would greatly appreciate your support!
