This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our nets are torn and tattered beyond repair. Trust me, we've been repairing for years. Students are looking forward to floor hockey and soccer units this year but we need new nets for the goals.
We're asking for six nets so we can serve our double classes by running three games simultaneously.
Before the games though, the nets will help provide enough equipped space for classes to efficiently practice skills.
Beyond floor hockey and soccer, we will be able to use the nets during other activities, like the 5-7minute instant activity to begin each class. There are several target-oriented instant activities we could play with fully functional goals, which will allow us to add some variety to our regular rotation.
