My Students

Kindergarten is an amazing year. My students are overly excited about everything and love to learn. They can’t wait to come to school and get started. Most of them come from essential working families and qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

My Project

Most of our collaborative lessons occur on our circle rug. This easel is mobile and will allow me to hang chart paper and pocket charts as well as writing our morning message. It has magnetic whiteboards for shared writing and independent center activities. Across the bottom is a shelf which will hold several materials for ease. My class will have the opportunity to come up and share their ideas, practice their writing on the printed lines, and engage equally with academic content while taking an active role in their learning.
