My Project
My students come to school speaking many languages. for many, English is not one of them. So imagine spending six hours a day in school and not understanding one word. This is what my students face every day. My students need a way to concentrate and focus on their work. We use the computer for lessons in reading and math. Most of my students did not bring in their own headphones so they can not take part in the lessons that are through the computer. As we develop skills in writing and math there are times when students need to work independently and have trouble as they sit at shared tables. The privacy screens will help the students concentrate on their own work and not interfere with others.
Lastly, the students need help with organization.
My goal is to have the headphones and privacy boards put in the shelving unit. The students will each be assigned a section of the bookcase to store these materials.
