My Project
I am a reading specialist in a rural school district. During small group intervention, I use a variety of hands on activities. Resulting in an effective, multisensory experience.
I will use the phoneme phones to help struggling students hear themselves as they individualy whisper read text, the whisper phones will discover a heightened listening experience. This will aid the student to master pronunciation.
The Sorting Owls will help make students practice to distinguish long from short vowels with engaging picture cards.
I love seeing the progress my students make with direct instruction on reading and a multisensory approach!
