An Ear-Resistable Approach to Building Reading and Math Skills
Help me give my students the gift of being able to hear when on their Chromebooks. We use i-ready for math and reading and it a great tool when my students can hear. We need headphones!

My Students
I am lucky to be a 2nd grade teacher. I believe I have the best job in the whole world! Each child is unique and special. I tell my students each day that they have something special to offer in this world and in our classroom each and every day. My students are happy and excited about life. I love to see them learn and grow. There is nothing better than a smile from a child when they are learning!
My Project
My students deserve to be able to hear while on their Chromebooks.
We use I-ready for reading and math.
This is a researched based program that is on individual levels. I would love it if each one of my students had headphones to use during guided reading and math intervention time.
During this time I am with small groups and the noise from the computers are a distraction. I pull small groups for reading and math to give more one on one attention and it is hard to hear the students in my groups. This is because most of our headphones are broken and often my students have to turn down the volume on their Chromebooks and not use any headphones at all.
