An Ear-resistable Approach to Building Math Skills
Help me give my students headphones, erasers, and lamination tools to help them practice building their math skills both using kinesthetic task cards and in digital stations.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Items like headphones help students focus during independent work and are especially powerful for students with reading difficulties. Being able to laminate task cards and games for my students will enable them to learn in a memorable, mobile, and enjoyable way. They will be able to choose standards they need the most practice with in groups, while being able to get out of their seat and activate deeper thinking by engaging their whole bodies. Erasers will help my students check and correct their mistakes, ensuring that they develop a deep and accurate understanding of the math they're learning.
