My Students

Our students are a wonderful group each year. The classroom these materials will help support is an inclusion classroom. That means the students within the classroom range from students that need a little extra support to students that are gifted.

My students love to learn and I want to encourage their learning excitement.

With students coming from many different ethic and social backgrounds it makes for a wonderful group of kids. This is why I try to maintain a classroom that will encourage all no matter their background.

My Project

Keeping a classroom library full of books that students can enjoy can be a challenge. I want to offer my students the ability to choose books that will speak to them . This project will allow students the opportunity to read books that have won various awards of excellence. Newberry and Caldecott award winning books allow students to dive into wonderful stories and art work. As I continue to update and replace old books with new I have decided to include those that readers have enjoyed for many years to offer to my students.
