My Project
We are lucky in our small town to have an author of a beloved children's series. In years past, my third graders have read this author's books and have fallen in love with the character, Molly, and her adventure through a magical land.
Each year I love to give my third graders the first book in this series and read it together!
We are then lucky enough to have the author come and meet the students! Our local author shares with the students her journey of how she became an author. She shares with the students her tips for writing and how easy and fun it can be!
We wrap up this exciting day with her signing each one of their books. The students are absolutely thrilled each time they get to meet her!
