My Project
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Roberto Ocana, and I am a Teacher at Overland High School, where I have the privilege of working with an incredible group of diverse students. I am reaching out to request your support in an exciting project that aims to enhance financial literacy skills for my students through the integration of technology in our classroom.
Financial literacy is a critical life skill that is often overlooked in traditional education.
Many of my students come from underserved communities, where access to financial education and resources is limited. I want to equip them with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed financial decisions in the future.
To make this possible, I am seeking funding for an iPad, which will serve as a key tool in delivering interactive and engaging financial literacy lessons. With the iPad, students will be able to access educational apps, engage in financial simulations, and learn how to budget, save, and invest in a hands-on way.
