it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The year was 2019. I created a DonorsChoose project and received a brand new Apple MacBook Pro. Boy was I excited to show my students all the fun and engaging lessons I could create with our new laptop! Then, in early 2020, the pandemic hit...
Now, my new laptop was not a luxury, it was a necessity.
I started teaching remotely, my laptop was attached to me all day long. I simply could not do my job without my laptop. It became my lifeline and a way to connect with my students who were trying to make sense of what was going on.
Fast forward 5 years later, I'm here again. My laptop has run its course and I'm in desperate need of a new one. My students depend on it because most of my lessons are digital so, my computer has become a daily part of my teaching routine.
