My Project
I am requesting a classroom Apple iPad tablet and sturdy carrying case. By having a classroom iPad, students will be open to learning the basics of technology, introduced to interactive learning, and given opportunities to integrate technology into the classroom.
In receiving a classroom iPad, students will be able to access interactive learning experiences, learning games, and allow the iPad to be integrated for whole group and small group learning time.
For whole group, the iPad will be used for our daily class music and movement songs, projecting visual stories via Kindle and other book apps, showcasing videos, and using our SmartBoard pen from a previous DonorsChoose project to have touch screen and interactive learning with apps, videos, and visuals. In learning with small group, students will also learn how to communicate with one another and work together to complete tasks and learning activities on the iPad. The iPad will also open up to students learning how to integrate technology into the classroom and how to use it with current classroom technology as well as allow Ms. J to utilize the iPad for parent communication and class documentation via our Class Dojo app.
