My Project
As a kindergarten teacher, I am constantly trying to find ways to increase student engagement in a fun way. A MacBook Pro is a big investment, but it is an investment in the lives of our students. I want them to have access to this laptop so that they can learn new things, stay excited about learning, and become future learners. There are a variety of online programs that we could use both as a whole class and individually. Programs like BrainPop, Jr., Zearn, and ABC Mouse, provide students with opportunities to practice reading, spelling, math, social studies, and science in an exciting, interactive way.
The best part of this project is that it will not only benefit my class for this year, but for my students in the future, too!
