My Students

Students in my Kindergarten classroom are creative, hands on, and love learning! My classroom is a beautiful mixture of students; some of which have never been in a school setting before. They are hard workers and strive to make their best efforts every day.

They are very adaptable children and love anything they get them out of their regular seats!

Some of their favorite activities are working on the tablets, playing in centers, and working in small groups with myself. As their teacher, it is my goal to keep them motivated, organized, and be great thinkers!

My Project

My students have been striving to meet and surpass their reading and math goals. One way they have gained a lot of growth is through using an iPad. They work on their basic reading skills, addition/subtraction, and now that they are reading, their comprehension skills. Our classroom is in an old building without much room so we rely on portable technology to learn and create. They have been working so hard on their reading comprehension skills and have been rocking their math skills! I’m hoping to give them a chance to learn using a different approach, especially since technology becomes more relevant in the classroom each year.
