This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love learning through hands-on experiences and discovery. I teach at a STEAM Magnet Center and teach integrated lessons using science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. I teach my students the Scientific Method, Engineering Process and expose them to solving challenges cooperatively with specific materials.
We are in need of a reliable classroom computer so students can conduct independent research projects and work cooperatively by sharing information learned in a digital format.
We need a new classroom computer for instruction as well. As a teacher I create google slides and present my students with engaging and comprehensible content to assure learning is accessible to all students. We need technology, precisely a new computer for viewing learning videos, playing songs, and teaching coding to students.
