Hello Donors, I work in a Title I School located in Manhattan, New York City. Our population consists of minorities and low-income families. Most come to school without the necessary materials to be successful and empowered learners. All students are eager to learn new and interesting things. Our goal is to prepare students for upper grades and become college-ready individuals.
Our elementary school serves students in grades PreK-5 and provides rigorous academics, a safe learning environment, and without question, an amazing staff.
Due to these great efforts, our school is one of the top-performing schools in our district. We continue to thrive daily and push our students to their fullest potential.
My Project
This project will allow me to best communicate with my students during virtual connections. Throughout the school year we may become virtual and I am in need of technology to stay connected with my students.
While in person, this MacBook will help my students learn and grow.
There are many advantages for students through technology. They can access their google classrooms, work on assignments, visit educational websites, email teachers and peers and allow them to stay connected during these difficult times. Help me give them the appropriate tools for success.
