Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students would benefit from using these iPads in the various centers of our classroom such as the Math Center, Dramatic Play Area, Science Center, Library, Language & Literacy/Writing Center, and Calming Corner/Problem Solving Center.
Learning would be enhanced by exploring numerous topics in the different centers (counting, handwriting, social skills games, early childhood stories, and we would rotate the iPads throughout the centers as we explore/research different concepts utilizing technology.
The students would also be able to complete and send work through the iPads using developmentally appropriate apps such as Seesaw. We need the Apple pencils as the children are using their fine motor skills to explore technology. Children would enhance their keyboarding and letter recognition skills using the keyboard to navigate the iPad. In addition, the Apple AirPods would allow for iPad exploration while other students in class are engaged in other activities. I teach in an urban school and the students and I are very appreciative of items donated to our classroom.
