My Project
Podcasting is a powerful tool for engagement, storytelling, and digital literacy, and I am eager to develop my skills in audio production, content creation, and professional storytelling.
Through this project, I will learn how to produce high-quality podcasts that enhance educational community and incorporate audio storytelling into my work as a teacher.
With a Shure MV7+ podcasting microphone, a boom arm, shock mount, pop filter, and a Kindle e-reader, I will develop, record, and edit my own educational podcast. The Apple Pencil Pro will allow me to annotate and organize research materials efficiently. The USB-C Hub will enable seamless integration of all my technology for a professional workflow.
By mastering podcasting, I will empower teachers, students, and others in the community to explore history through storytelling, develop their oral communication and research skills, and create their own narratives that connect historical events to their lived experiences. This professional development opportunity will allow me to bring innovative, student-driven learning experiences into my classroom, helping students engage with history in a way that feels personal, relevant, and impactful.
