My Project
Our school has a wonderful and diverse performing arts program, with about half of the student population participating in at least one performance each year. However, we lack some tools and materials needed to conduct effective and productive rehearsals. These items will allow our student performers to engage in whole group, small group and independent rehearsals.
Rehearsals give student the opportunity to practice and build their performance and leadership skills.
With limited time in our school day, we often loose valuable rehearsal time working small sections at a time. Through the use of bluetooth speakers students will be able to split off into groups, doubling our rehearsal time.
My students are passionate about their performance projects and giving students the tools to conduct rehearsals in smaller groups will help to develop student leadership skills, while also expanding the impact of the rehearsal process.
