Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an amazing group of 4th graders at a Title 1 school, where resources are limited and many of my students cannot afford their own quality headphones. With your support, we can provide them with the tools they need to thrive academically.
In my classroom, headphones are essential for learning.
My students use them daily for intervention programs, differentiated instruction, and online learning platforms that support reading, math, and language development. Whether they are working on individualized assignments, practicing essential skills, or engaging in language support programs, headphones allow them to focus, minimize distractions, and learn at their own pace.
Right now, many of my students either don’t have headphones or rely on low-quality ones that break easily. Without proper headphones, they struggle to hear their lessons clearly, making it harder to stay engaged and succeed.
