My school participates in an innovative program in which students concentrate on music, science, technology, engineering and math. I work as a physical education teacher at our school, and I regularly include science vocabulary and concepts into our curriculum.
Earhart school is a special place to learn due to our focuses on teaching science and music.
The students will be prepared as 21st century learners who can utilize technology to access many aspects of the curriculum. Including music as a learning tool also makes our school both academically rigorous and fun!
My Project
These items will allow meaningful and fun learning to take place in an outdoor area with ease. Our school is located on a busy suburban street corner with lots of traffic and road noise. Additionally, we are very close to a large airport.
The amplified sound provided from these purchases will allow students to participate in our MSTEM, Music, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math program during our physical education classes.
Music is a large part of our curriculum, and this speaker will allow students to access the curriculum and learn dances to accompany the songs that they sing. Our songs are a large part of our school culture, and if this project is funded, all 620 students will benefit.
