My Students

The American Revolution does not have to be dry and boring. We want our students to get up close and personal with this important period of our country's history. Well written and age appropriate reference books can be the key to their success.

We have a great group of students at our Middle School.

Our 8th graders want to learn and achieve their potential. With the necessary materials and resources they will be able to be successful. Encouraging students to learn and succeed are what we are all about.

My Project

Our 8th grade students often feel discouraged when they don't know how to complete research papers. Our school is at a high poverty level and they can't always afford the basic school supplies. This project will provide good research materials written at their age level and the supplies such as index cards and folders that they need. We will be purchasing well written biographies and books that cover the important battles and events of the American Revolution.

Sometimes all a student needs to be successful is encouragement and the right resources.

Your donations to this project will provide students with much needed resources in our media center.
