My Project
I am trying to get a head-start on getting a few novel studies for my American Literature class next year. I have eleventh and tenth graders who have expressed interest and excitement in the novels that I am trying to obtain for my class. By using these novels,, students will have a more diverse and collective reading.
I hope to teach about different time periods in American Literature with The Crucible and The Great Gatsby, and allow students to gain a better knowledge of the history and changing of writing styles.
My eleventh graders will need this exposure to the different styles of each novel as they will be seniors and going into the world when we read them. I thank you for any support you can give.
