This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a bilingual teacher in a low-income and high poverty school district, I know that my students are faced with various challenges in and out of the classroom. My desire is to maintain a positive learning experience so that my students become motivated learners.
My students are innovative, bright, and very inquisitive.
They like to work in groups, they enjoy reading and especially positive attention. Many of them are below the poverty level and receive a free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. These experiences may prevent them from getting ahead early in life. I hope to inspire my students on a path of academic achievement.
My Project
I have so many plans I don't even know where to begin. This school year has been very interesting. Doing both virtual and in class has definitely taking its toll. Lately, my students have dwindled down with writing. However, I know that they just need Teacher pay teachers inspiration. This site has so many resources created by extraordinary teachers.
What I really like about these resources is that they can be very interactive and get students moving.
Sometimes the students at home doing virtual class may feel left out, but these resources are created for both virtual and in class students.
