Amazing Work and Resources!

My students need a laminating machine in the class to help preserve their hard work and allow us to display them on the walls for all to see!

My Students

We will have a class of 27 beautiful students who come to school eager and ready to learn. We teach our students to be leaders in and outside of the classroom. This means they are in charge of themselves and are responsible for making their futures great by making the right choices.

We may be a special education ICT classroom, but our needs don't define us.

For some students, our classroom is a safe haven where they know they are loved and encouraged to always do their best. Our students come from various ethnic backgrounds. Additionally, with our school being a Title I school, many of our families come from a low socio-economic class. Students have the opportunities to receive free meals throughout the school day including breakfast, lunch, and an after-school snack. Despite what some may view as disadvantages, our students always maintain a positive attitude and strive to do their best.

My Project

With our class consisting of different types of learners, our students require different tools and materials to assist in their learning. By providing our classroom with ink to use in our classroom printer, we would be able to print important papers to send home to parents and print math games and writing tools to give our students. Having a laminating machine and laminating pouches will help us create and preserve resources and tools that could help our students throughout the day. We would be able to laminate small anchor charts for our students to use during independent and group work activities.

Showcasing our students' amazing work in the hallways helps students show more pride in their hard work!

Every month, we change out our bulletin boards in and out of the classroom. During this time, we display our student work from our writing and math units. We hope you will help us and our students by funding our project!
