Help me give my students a doll house. It encourages imagination and creativity, skills that will benefit my little students throughout preschool and life. Additionally, barn farming will teach my students why and how different animals live.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Playing with Dollhouse and Barn will help my students learn to be kind and care for others.
The school is a Dual Language with a need for families recently arriving in the city from different countries.
Most of these students come from low-income families. They need to learn as they require more support at home as newcomers. All 19 students in my classroom need this help. Despite that, they always have a smile on their face every time they discover something new and deserve to learn new experiences.
My Project
My preschool students will love the Dollhouse for encouraging imagination and creativity, skills that will benefit my little students throughout preschool and life. Playing dollhouses will allow children to create stories and learn life skills, organization, and classification.
Also, barn farming will teach my students why and how different animals receive different foods, require different types of shelter, and need extra care at other times. It will teach children to be aware, observant, and alert to the various needs of animals.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
