it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are just learning foundational skills of reading. As we work on learning new sounds, blends, and sight words, it is important for my students to practice reading within text.
These colorful, engaging books will allow them to transfer new skills into reading text!
I will use the different decodable book sets and sight word books to give my students more individualized instruction. With each book being more focused on a specific skill, I can clearly meet the wide range of student needs. My classroom has a need for texts that are appropriate for my students' academic levels. By having multiple copies of texts, students will also be able to borrow books to take home to practice.
