My Project

I have been teaching 3rd-grade for 11 years at a Title I school. Next year, we need a 6th-grade teacher, so I stepped up to take the challenge. The one thing I am very sad about is my classroom library. It took me many years to build my 3rd-grade library, and I can only take about half of those books with me.

In 6th grade, I will be teaching ELA and Social Studies.

I want my students to have that love for reading. For me to do that, I need books such as Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales Series, Alan Gratz Book Series Set, and the Front Desk Series 3 Books Collection Set by Kelly Yang, to grab their attention and that they enjoy them.
