Amazing Learning Activities for Preschool Reading And Math!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every student in my classroom has unique strengths and a shared love of learning. They also have their own needs that must be addressed during their small group time. The addition of the reading and math small group activities and supplies requested is pivotal for enhancing their reading and math abilities and overall learning experience. Our school is facing challenges such as reading below grade-level standards and needing specialized English Language Development (ELD) support for many students. These needs push me to consistently demonstrate enthusiasm while promoting a strong desire to learn in my students.
The combination of small group activities and supplies requested will create a classroom learning environment that is amazing and enhance experiences in both reading and math.
Small group instruction ensures each student receives the necessary support to make for meaningful rich learning.
Equipping our classroom with supplies—reading materials, gross motor activities, and manipulatives—will engage students and reinforce their foundational reading and math concepts. These resources provide hands-on opportunities for students to practice and apply skills with confidence and enjoyment.
My goal for this project is to empower my students to try new activities and be enthusiastic about learning. My students are resilient and eager to learn despite obstacles. Their positive attitudes and determination inspire me daily. I am committed to providing the support they need to thrive academically and beyond.
In conclusion, these additions are not just about enhancing our classroom; they are investments in each student’s future. Together, we can create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, capable, and empowered to achieve their goals from pre-school and beyond.
