This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a wonderfully intelligent class of 23 explorers! I teach at a Title I school with very diverse learners who love to learn and love to explore! In my class we are doing our best to make learning fun. My hope is to spark a love of learning in each of the children who enter my class. Kindergarten is a time of growth. These children are growing their communication capabilities, math skills, reading and writing abilities, all while learning basic social and life skills. We are busy! This is the place to learn it ALL!

My Project

These materials would add so much to our classroom. Through these materials our classroom will heighten their communication skills through speaking, sharing, and using new vocabulary. It will make our class smarter through interactive and hands-on learning. We are so excited to get our hands and minds busy with these new tools! We need your help! I was taught that it takes a village and it is absolutely true.

My list includes basic necessities to run our classroom and tools to help with the students self expression and learning to be part of a community.

I have included math and ELA manipulatives to heighten their understanding of our basic course work as well.
