My Students

My first-grade students are eager to learn and work as a community to reach their goals. We are a project-based learning school, which makes my students super excited about learning. They enjoy hands-on projects that spark up their curiosity and engage them in highly motivating and intelligible conversations.

My Project

Our class is learning about the importance of plants. These amazing plants are the reason we are alive. They help us breathe, they feed us, and are fascinating in every way. Unfortunately, a lot of people know very little about plants. Many plants are going extinct due to humans and industrialization. If plants continue to go extinct, all forms of life will disappear as well. My goal is to teach students how to care for, grow, and reproduce plants in order to prevent extinction. Learning to care for another living thing is very rewarding. I would like to share this gift with my students so they can continue teaching others these valuable lessons. These tools and gardening supplies will help me teach my students a lifelong lesson.
