Amazing Flex Seating and Sensory Tools for Kindergarteners

My Students
My students are bright, energetic and curious. They come from several communities near our charter school. Despite not being a typical neighborhood school, the girls and boys have already become the best of friends. I strive to help each child to gain confidence in his or her social and academic abilities.
The impact of Covid-19 in the classroom has been challenging however the children have been resilient.
Kindergarten is such an important year for these young learners as they gain so many new and important skills. Despite having to occasionally wear face masks, learn at home because of illness, and having to be consistently vigilant about not sharing germs, the children are learning and growing. I am proud of my students.
My Project
The flex seating provides seating that help children to be able to move while learning. The weighted lap and shoulder pads and calming cuddle ball will help students when they may be feeling upset or sad. The other sensory tools such as the fidget tools, tempura paint, and sensory sand will help my young students to have variety and will help meet their emotional needs in the classroom.
With the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic it is so important that the children feel calm and secure at school.
I hope that my students will emotionally benefit from these amazing classroom tools.
