Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
High school can be daunting, but with the right tools I plan to develop relationships with my new 9th grade cohort.
A new environment with new faces and new rules can be overwhelming and I want my counseling office to be a welcoming place where students can relax and feel at ease while I support them with an array of topics.
Being able to feel at ease while discussing light to heavy issues is vital in order to effectively support a student. Having some LEGOs, games and art kits available in the counseling office, can be the ice breaker and incentive while reviving the proper support.
