This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Quality children’s literature is a must have in a preschool classroom. I want to provide opportunities for my students to hear stories written by a variety of amazing authors.
Amazing children’s books like these help build important developing literacy skills, such as vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and the love for reading.
The books I’m requesting are engaging and contain characters that my preschoolers truly enjoy.
Authors like Mo Willems, Ezra Jack Keats, Leo Lionni and Kevin Henkel are Preschool must haves. Their stories and characters are unforgettable and support literacy skills across the curriculum.
