Amazing Arctic Animals

Help me give my students arctic animal text sets and stuffed animals that align with our science unit.

My Project

Students would love to combine ELA and our content areas. One way we can do this is by curating text sets that align with our science curriculum.

Students would love to research 3 arctic animals: polar bears, snowy owls, and penguins.

I am in the process of gathering books about these three high interest animals so that students can select one to research, and work with a team to read all about this animal in order to create a fun presentation about them. In the winter we study animal senses and communication so this reading and writing research project will tie in nicely to the curriculum.
