My Project

My scholars are hard-working students who love learning! They are little sponges when it comes to learning about animals, absorbing as much information as they can! In First Grade we are researching animals in our current reading unit and learning about how animals survive and thrive. Needless to say, the kids are hooked on animals books!

While my scholars are gathering animal information, they are also learning how to write an informative text in which they will name an animal, give facts about the animal, and write a conclusion.

We are off to a good start with the animal books we have here in our classroom, but my scholars keep asking for more animals books! As I stated above, my students love learning, especially when it comes to animals! Can you help us add to our animal book collection?
