My Students

My students are from an inner-city section of Cleveland, known for unsafe streets. We focus on making safety one of our top concerns at school because a feeling of safety allows you to focus on learning while at school.

My students are fifth and sixth graders just trying to succeed in education with obstacles that we are trying to overcome to match our counterparts in more affluent areas.

I would like my students to be able to learn modern uses for technology such as Google Docs, Microsoft Office, online storage, and coding to be ready for future careers.

My Project

I am asking for a Google Chromebook Education License to help monitor the websites the students are using in the classroom, and to help avoid students from going on unapproved websites during learning time.

Our new classroom needs a charging station for our Chromebooks to have a streamlined, less space consuming, organized way to charge and store our Chromebooks.

We are moving to a newly built building over President's Day weekend and need to have newer items displayed to meet the requirements of the architect. A charging station will eliminate the need to have lots of extension cords and power strips, making the room less of a fire hazard as well.
