My Students

My students are 7th grade ELA scholars. We are located in a low-income urban setting. My students love to read even though it is an everyday challenge that we are conquering. It is extremely necessary to create this humble environment because they are hardworking and capable of overcoming any hardships that come their way.

To most of my students, the walls of my classroom are where they find the most comfort and ease.

Individuals, brilliant, motivated; my students are all unique in their own way. It is my job to give them everything that they deserve because they are the future. I want to inspire them to want to learn and give them the stability that they need in life so that they can soar.

My Project

I can't "mask" how excited I am to welcome students back to school for year 2020-2021!

In order to stay safe and maintain social distancing, I want to have extra masks on hand, lanyards for forgetful students, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, pencils to avoid borrowing, face wipes for mask breaks and a contactless thermometer for some extra precaution.

It is extremely important to me that my students feel safe and know that their teacher is readily prepared for all of their wants and needs while adapting to this new norm!
