This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students do not bring lunch to school or they simply are picky and may not like their lunch food so they spend about 7 hours a day with no food in their tummies. When students go without food for long periods of time they become irritable and unproductive. I am a school counselor who has seen the positive outcome of snacks during school hours. That is why I am requesting snacks for them.
Snacks are good for students because it gives them a boost of energy and helps them stay focused and happy.
