Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As our class sizes are always growing, my kindergarteners have outgrown our classroom rug. I plan on using the larger rug, that can seat many more students, during our morning meeting where we learn and review calendar, weather, and special dates/activities.
With a larger space, we could use it more often for other activities, without it feeling too crammed.
The kiddos love using it to do stem stations, themed read alouds, and even math task boxes.
My students are incredibly hard working and deserve a space of their own to learn and play.
