My Project

In a post-COVID world, my students have discovered what they need to be successful and have learned to advocate for themselves. Many of my students thrive in a unique setting that combines the comfort of home with the structures of the classroom.

Alternative seating in school allows my students to step away from the uncomfortable desk and focus on their work.

I have limited alternative seating in my room, but I receive numerous requests every day for their use. Some students need a quiet place to work while others appreciate the comfort of their back. Please help me provide these options for more students. We need longue chairs, memory foam toppers, and bean bags.

My goal is to have enough alternative options for every student in my room. I teach 3 classes of about 20-30 students each semester. Right now I have four alternative seats in my room, I'd like to make that closer to 10-15. This is especially useful during project work. I love hands-on learning and incorporate a lot of projects throughout the year. Your donation would be used every day for many years to come!
