My Students

My 2nd grade students are a group of fun, eager, kinesthetic (hands-on) learners. They are so fun during small groups with their eager participation and smiles when they get the answer right. Their fun motto is "we are on fire!"

My Project

I would like to provide my students with a safe space on the floor to stretch out. My students are kinesthetic learners and I would like for them to be free of the restrictions of a desk. The rug I have chosen provides this space and as an extra bonus, math symbols and numbers.

I would also like to provide white boards to my students.

These white boards will allow students to be active by answering questions, working out math problems and be used as a hard surface for writing.
