My Students

I teach science and math enrichment to students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Our school is located in Southeast Michigan, just outside of Detroit. More than 90% of my students receive free or reduced price lunch.
Our school has a very diverse student body. We have many immigrant students at our school. A majority of my students are English Language Learners as well.
My Project
I am requesting stability balls and arm chairs to continue moving my classroom to allow for more flexible seating options. Currently, we have a lovely carpet and some Hokki stools that were generously donated from previous projects. I would like to add some other seating options to our classroom so that more of my students can have a choice of where they would like to work.
Your donation to this project would provide my classroom with more options for flexible seating.
My students love using our classroom Hokki stools, however I do not have enough for each students. By adding stability balls and arm chairs, my students will have more seating options to use during work time.
