My Project

My students this year are an exceptional group! We have welcomed both Ukrainian and Venezuelan refugee students to our classroom this year and I am looking to make this reading space feel like home. All of my students deserve a safe and comfortable place to dive into literature.

Alternative seating that is teen centered makes it more of an inviting space for students to explore the wonderful world of literacy.

My students helped me select the items for the classroom and in doing so have taken ownership of their learning environment and I couldn't be prouder to be their teacher.
