My Students
I teach at a public high school in Utah. My students are extremely independent and very hard working. They are the type of students that make me extremely proud but also make me want to get out of bed every morning and give 110% effort.
With how hard my students work, I know that they will go on to do great things and change the future of this country.
I know that many of them will go on to become lawyers, doctors, business owners, mothers, and whatever else their hearts desire.
This is why I want to provide them with the best opportunities possible, to help push them, challenge them, and shape them into the citizens our country needs.
My Project
I am trying to find ways to create a fun learning environment that allows my students the ability to relax while they learn as well as teaching them how to develop soft skills and working in teams and negotiating. My list may seem random, but I will be using the materials to provide alternative seating in the form of camping chairs, give students the chance to negotiate and learn about law of supply and demand with board games, and give the D&D club members another adventure to run after school as they continue to grow and learn to love school.
