My Project
A study done by, NPJ, Science of Learning "presents substantial evidence on the effective enhancement of creativity, the fostering of creative activities, and the improvement of academic performance through the deployment of art-based programs". Art is vital to inhancing all aspects of academic learning and growing.
The art supplies in this project will help me teach my 3rd grade students weekly art-based lessons that will carry over to improved academic learning.
My students love art and love being able to exercise their mind and bodies. This project also includes dodgeballs for special classroom earned P.E. activities. My students come from all different social-economic backgrounds of which many can't afford art supplies or organized group activities. I know that these art supplies and dodgeballs will help us translate success both in academia and in life skills.
